About The Position

Enterprise Physical Security provides expertise and support across CIBC’s sites and operations, helping protect our people, assets, information, and reputation. As a Consultant, Executive Protection, Travel Security and Protective Intelligence, you'll support the day-to-day delivery of programs that help keep executives and employees safe at home, at work, and while travelling. You'll coordinate information, maintain documentation, prepare routine materials, and support risk reviews related to executive travel, employee travel, off-site events, and other protective operations. You’ll work closely with Corporate Security leaders and internal and external partners to help organize protective intelligence inputs, track requests and follow-ups, and support timely escalation of emerging risks. This role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, detail focused, and comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion. Through your work, you'll help strengthen CIBC’s duty of care commitments and support consistent, high-quality program delivery across the enterprise. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in corporate security, executive protection, travel security, protective intelligence, risk coordination, or a related field.
  • Degree/diploma in security management, law enforcement, criminal justice, emergency management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Demonstrate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, documentation management, tracking and reporting, and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting protective operations, travel risk assessments, vendor coordination, or event security planning.
  • Post-secondary education, a security-related designation, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent in French.
  • Experience working with travel security tools, intelligence platforms, or security service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day coordination of Executive Protection, Travel Security, and Protective Intelligence activities.
  • Help organize requests, schedules, follow-ups, and documentation to support smooth program delivery.
  • Gather and organize information for travel reviews, event security planning, residential security considerations, and protective operations.
  • Monitor protective intelligence inputs and threat indicators and escalate issues through established channels for review.
  • Prepare routine briefing materials, trackers, updates, templates, and process documents for Corporate Security leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records to support consistency, compliance, and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate with internal partners, senior leadership offices, Executive Assistants, external vendors, and public safety contacts, where required, to support service delivery and information exchange.
  • Follow established policies, standards, guidelines, and controls in all assigned activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, documentation practices, and coordination methods to enhance efficiency and consistency.
