Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
Ability to research and prepare technical memorandums, field reports, and report sections
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills for effective collaboration
Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area

Nice To Haves

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or current registration for the F.E. exam
Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D, GIS Software, and/or Hydraflow/HydroCAD
Prior internship or professional experience in civil/environmental engineering
Willingness to travel for field work

Responsibilities

Work in a remote/hybrid environment, maintaining clear communication on schedules, deliverables, and priorities
Assist in civil/environmental design and project support, including: Site plans, Erosion and sediment control plans, Stormwater management plans, Permit application preparation
Participate in field work, sampling, construction monitoring, and reporting
Manage multiple fast-paced projects across diverse geographies
Ensure compliance with ERM’s world-class Health and Safety Program
