Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B sales, business development, or commission-based environments.
  • A hunter mentality with strong prospecting and lead generation capability.
  • Highly self-motivated, competitive, and accountable for results.
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven, income-for-results environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and sales activity (an asset).
  • Confidence operating in both virtual and in-person sales settings.
  • Resilient, persistent, and driven to build long-term financial success.
  • Skilled in using professional social platforms—especially LinkedIn—to generate opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect, hunt, and close new business insurance opportunities through strategic lead generation and networking.
  • Build and grow a personal book of business that delivers recurring commission income.
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Deliver tailored insurance solutions that drive value for clients and revenue growth for you.
  • Confidently present and negotiate insurance proposals with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities across assigned or self-developed target markets.
  • Consistently meet and exceed new business and revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and follow-up using CRM systems.
  • Partner with Service Support teams to ensure retention, cross-selling, and long-term account profitability.
  • Stay current on market trends to identify new sales opportunities and coverage needs.
  • Actively participate in networking events, meetings, and prospecting initiatives that expand your pipeline.
  • Provide sales updates, forecasts, and insights to leadership as required.
