About The Position

Requirements

  • PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing
  • 3+ years of pharmacist experience
  • Strong expertise in: Pharmacotherapy and disease state management, Clinical service delivery models, Pharmacy operations and workflow, State and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Experience with medication therapy management and patient care services

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing or implementing clinical pharmacy programs
  • Familiarity with value-based care or payer-driven models
  • Grant writing or program funding experience
  • Immunization certification and/or additional clinical certifications

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve clinical service offerings that drive growth and patient impact
  • Translate market trends, payer models, and regulatory changes into actionable strategies
  • Build scalable workflows, documentation standards, and implementation toolkits
  • Partner with leadership to align clinical programs with business objectives
  • Develop business cases, ROI models, and performance metrics
  • Guide independent pharmacies in launching and scaling clinical services
  • Identify non-dispensing revenue opportunities and help bring them to market
  • Assess workflows and recommend operational improvements
  • Train pharmacy teams on service delivery, documentation, and billing
  • Serve as a trusted clinical and operational advisor
  • Deliver patient-centered services such as: Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMRs), Adherence interventions, Preventive care services (e.g., immunizations)
  • Provide clinical guidance to pharmacists, providers, and patients
  • Promote evidence-based, cost-effective therapies
  • Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for intervention
  • Support grant identification, proposal development, and reporting
  • Collaborate with payers, healthcare organizations, and industry partners
  • Participate in pilot programs, value-based care initiatives, and population health efforts
  • Represent Value Drug Company in external collaborations
  • Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations and all federal/state requirements
  • Support Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement initiatives
  • Track and report clinical, operational, and financial performance
  • Leverage pharmacy systems and clinical platforms to drive efficiency and insight
  • Standardize documentation and reporting processes
  • Use data to continuously improve programs and demonstrate value
  • Act as a clinical thought leader for our member pharmacies
  • Stay ahead of emerging therapies and care models
  • Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and patient-centered care
