Construction Yard/Shop Laborer
About The Position
Clearwater Construction is seeking a Shop/Yard Laborer to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the Shop/Yard facility. This role involves performing selected maintenance, light janitorial duties, and moving tools/equipment. The laborer will also be responsible for light maintenance on tools, equipment, and the company's fleet. Additionally, the position requires setting up field offices on job sites, including trailers with furniture and equipment, familiarity with electrical wiring, and coordinating with power and cable companies for service setup. Light carpentry and laborer duties may also be required.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- General knowledge of commercial construction materials and tools and their specifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 + pounds
- Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, and bend over to lift and move objects
- The ability to take direction from multiple supervisors
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a good driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience with a construction company is helpful
- Familiarity with electrical wiring
