About The Position

Murphy’s Family Staffing is recruiting construction workers, skilled tradespeople, helpers, and general laborers for a busy modular home manufacturing facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The direct-hire openings span multiple production departments, including framing, carpentry, drywall, roofing, siding, electrical and plumbing assistance, painting, material handling, and general production. Experienced applicants and dependable entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; applicants do not need experience in every area and may be matched to a department based on their experience and abilities. The positions offer a base rate of $15–$18 per hour, plus a $2 per hour attendance bonus for employees who report to every scheduled shift on time, for potential total pay of $17–$20 per hour. Opportunities for advancement and additional consideration may depend on experience, performance, dependability, and department needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM. Although the standard production shift has traditionally ended at 2:30 PM, production is behind, and workers must be willing and available to stay until work is completed—currently expected to be approximately 4:30–5:30 PM when required. Interviews and hiring are underway, and selected candidates who complete required paperwork may be able to start as soon as the next business day.
