About The Position

Heritage Carpentry is a family-owned construction company serving Lancaster County since 1983. We specialize in new home construction, residential remodeling, and additions, taking pride in craftsmanship and lasting quality. This role involves hands-on work and driving the company truck to various job sites. You will receive direct instruction and training from experienced foremen and craftsmen, participating in framing, siding, window, and door installation across diverse projects. Requirements

• At least one year of construction-related experience in any skilled trade preferred
• High school diploma a plus
• Valid PA driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Must have or be willing to obtain a DOT medical card
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs., bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, and work safely from ladders.
• Must provide a basic hand tool set and tool belt.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company truck with the crew to and from job sites safely and responsibly.
• Receive direction from the job foreman and assist in the construction and renovation of residential properties.
• Perform framing, siding, window, and door installations.
• Operate & maintain hand tools and power tools with care and attention.
• Follow safety guidelines to help keep the crew and job site safe.
• Work with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.
• Clean the job site at the end of each day and assist with washing work trucks as needed.
