Construction Trades Teacher
About The Position
Caddo Academy is seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Trades Teacher to lead the development of a dynamic, hands-on program that prepares students for success in high-demand careers. This position is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a program designed to meet regional workforce needs while ensuring every student graduates Life-Ready. The Construction Trades Teacher will provide engaging, real-world instruction in construction-related fields, helping students develop technical skills, industry knowledge, and workplace readiness. Courses may include Introduction to Construction, Welding, and a Specialty Construction Area (based on candidate expertise and program needs).
Requirements
- Experience in a skilled trade (construction, welding, carpentry, electrical, etc.)
- Ability to obtain an appropriate technical certificate through the Arkansas Department of Education – Division of Career and Technical Education
- Passion for working with students and preparing them for postsecondary success
- Strong work ethic, communication skills, and commitment to collaboration
