About The Position

Our team of Construction Technicians work within the Mills Property Home Services department to complete a variety of projects for not only our properties, but also residential home owners and commercial businesses. They specialize in a wide variety of projects. No two days are the same with new tasks and challenges presented daily and, as a result, the opportunity to learn and grow in many areas. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills with a background in construction, maintenance, carpentry or finishing work. As a Construction Technician you will be responsible to complete a variety of construction and repair projects as a member of the Home Services Team. Construction Technician performs construction, carpentry, and maintenance duties as directed from the Maintenance Foreman. This person will also be a front-line representative of the company. Construction Technician must have adequate verbal and written skills.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years of Construction, Maintenance, Carpentry or Finishing experience required.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders.
Outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Responding to work order project requests
Remodeling, Repairing, and building in residential and commercial settings
Operating and maintaining company vehicle and equipment
Greeting and communicating with the public professionally
Complete and follow-up on a wide variety of tasks and items as may be assigned/or necessary to fulfill job duties
Work cooperatively and comply with all company standards, policy and procedures
Be conducted professionally, consistently and safely
