We provide full-service planning, design, and construction management for projects including roadways, bridges, airports, stormwater infrastructure, utilities infrastructure, and parks/recreation, primarily for state and local agencies and municipalities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management and at least 2-3 years of construction experience.
OR 3-4 years of field experience with civil construction work in Utilities.
Familiarity with IDOT procedures.
Current IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification.
Understanding of construction inspection practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Nice To Haves

Civil construction experience for Utilities, such as: interpreting contract documents (specifications, reading drawings, etc), grading activities, concrete foundations (spread footings/drilled piers), building experience (concrete, structural steel, precast erection, roofing, etc).

Responsibilities

Provide inspection for various construction projects.
Assist with maintaining project documentation, including calculations, daily reports, and project filing.
Perform work involving the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria under supervision.
Interface with clients, consultants, subconsultants, and vendors.
Build strong relationships and maintain a focus on superior client service.
