About The Position

Apex is seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to join our BC Operations. This is an opportunity to work on a significant major project while being part of a team known for technical excellence, safety, and professionalism. Travel and camp provided, on a 14/7 schedule.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of construction surveying experience
High-precision surveying capabilities using Robotic Total Stations
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction plans
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract

Nice To Haves

Industrial or heavy civil construction experience is considered an asset
Experience with Trimble survey equipment and software is considered a strong asset
Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Perform high-precision construction layout and as-built surveys
Operate Trimble Robotic Total Stations, GNSS, and related survey technology
Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project layout
Verify survey data through established QA/QC procedures
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, clients, and other trades
Prepare clear field notes, reports, and survey documentation
Maintain Apex's commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism on every project
