About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations from groundbreaking through project closeout. The role manages the delivery of ground-up commercial facilities from site preparation through completion, maintains and enforces the project schedule, leads stakeholder communications, promotes safety, and ensures quality and code compliance. Frequent travel to regional project sites is expected.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent.
• Ground-up building experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to regional project sites.
• Ability to navigate active jobsites, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with federal agency construction, such as USACE, NAVFAC, or GSA.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction activities for ground-up facilities from site preparation through completion.
• Maintain and enforce the master project schedule and develop and update 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Lead weekly progress meetings and act as the primary on-site contact for clients, owner’s representatives, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Enforce company and federal safety programs; organize, schedule, and conduct mandatory weekly safety meetings.
• Conduct ongoing job-site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
