About The Position

Our client is a premier, NYC -based construction services firm specializing in general contracting, interior construction, and project management. Established on a foundation of integrity and quality craftsmanship, they serve both B2B (commercial/retail) and B2C (luxury residential) sectors. Notably, the firm is currently expanding its portfolio into Data Center and Mission Critical infrastructure, offering a unique opportunity for a Superintendent to work on high -stakes, technically complex projects.

We are seeking a highly organized and safety -conscious Construction Superintendent to serve as the critical link between project plans and field execution. Our client is looking for a leader who can manage the daily oversight of job sites across the NYC area, ensuring projects from luxury renovations to data center builds are delivered safely and to the highest aesthetic and technical standards.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Site Supervisor in NYC.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Data Centers, Medical Facilities, or heavy MEP -intensive projects
• Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret complex architectural plans and MEP/engineering drawings.
• Skills: Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage diverse trades and high -pressure deadlines.
• Technology: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or Fieldwire).

Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Lead and coordinate all on -site activities, including the management of subcontractors, vendors, and internal trades.
• Mission Critical Oversight: Supervise complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installations, specifically for data center cooling, power redundancy, and infrastructure systems.
• Schedule Management: Monitor daily progress against the master schedule; identify potential bottlenecks and implement real -time solutions.
• Quality Control: Conduct meticulous inspections to ensure 100% compliance with drawings, client specifications, and NYC building codes.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous site safety protocols (OSHA/SST), conduct daily "toolbox talks," and maintain a hazard -free environment.
• Logistics & Documentation: Coordinate material deliveries and equipment staging in dense NYC environments; maintain daily site logs and field reports.
