We are looking for a highly motivated College Superintendent Intern, who is passionate about the construction process and wants to learn onsite. At ARCO, an Intern has the opportunity to assist Superintendents with the following: Work on Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including, commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment and more. Learn various skills from the Superintendent on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish and working with the Superintendent on the jobsite. You will make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle.

Requirements

Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs
Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence

Nice To Haves

Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Assist Superintendents with jobsite work and gain hands-on experience from expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries.
Learn skills from the Superintendent, including creating schedules, communicating with subcontractors, managing project flow, and working on the jobsite.
Perform critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle.
