About The Position

The Construction Superintendent II will be responsible for managing multiple trade discipline subcontractors engaged in field construction activities. This role involves reviewing drawings, assisting with scope of work development, developing and following project schedules, attending and leading client weekly progress meetings, and coordinating and scheduling subcontractors. The position also requires obtaining, submitting, and following up with material submittals and shop drawings, performing site layout, reviewing subcontractor safety practices, preparing daily progress reports, and documenting project activities through photos. Additionally, the superintendent will assist with quantity take-offs for proposal development, track monthly subcontractor hours, help with as-builts and close-out documents, and approve subcontractor payment applications. Prior experience with JOC or working on military bases is a plus.

Requirements

  • 10 years current experience as lead superintendent on commercial, educational and/or government projects.
  • Solid work history.
  • Overall working knowledge of various trades.
  • Experienced in interior and exterior projects.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Project, Adobe, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be able to work various projects simultaneously.
  • Must work well with others and follow the chain of command.
  • Must pass required drug testing and medical evaluation.
  • Must have a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • College preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificate preferred.
  • Prior experience with JOC or working on military bases.
