About The Position

This full-time summer job offers motivated and curious individuals the chance to earn money while gaining hands-on experience in commercial overhead door systems, installation processes, and job site operations. As part of a team, you will contribute to real projects, develop technical and professional skills, and learn about various systems including sectional overhead doors, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sliding doors and operable partitions, and dock levelers and gate operators. The role is designed as a learning environment that values people and prioritizes culture, with a commitment to training and mentoring to build a strong foundation for a future career in the trades.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial door and dock systems
• Learn basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques
• Support job site setup, material handling, and cleanup
• Help load, unload, and organize tools and materials
• Observe and learn how to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Follow all OSHA and job site safety requirements
• Gain experience operating equipment (as appropriate and supervised)
• Represent Lensing professionally while working with team members and customers
