About The Position

Service Plus Aquatics Inc. is hiring an experienced Tile Setter Foreman / Construction Site Project Leader to lead and work hands-on in commercial pool construction projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We are a long-established company (since 1989) specializing in pool construction, restoration, repair, and aquatic facility design/build. We are seeking a strong working foreman with advanced skills in tile setting, concrete, plastering, and pool construction. This is a working foreman (tile setter / pool construction lead) position. You will be responsible for leading a small crew while actively performing skilled trade work on multiple job sites across the GTA. Must be able to travel between job sites daily using your own vehicle.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years experience in tile setting (tile setter), pool construction, or concrete finishing
  • Previous foreman or lead hand experience preferred
  • Strong hands-on trade skills in tile, plastering, and concrete
  • Ability to manage multiple job sites and crews
  • Comfortable driving between sites across the GTA (own reliable vehicle required)
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
  • Physically fit for demanding outdoor/industrial work
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Valid G driver’s license with clean abstract
  • Bondable

Responsibilities

  • Work hands-on as a tile setter and pool construction foreman
  • Travel to multiple construction sites across the GTA (own vehicle required)
  • Lead a crew of approximately 4 workers
  • Perform tile setting, concrete finishing, plastering, and pool construction work
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Manage daily site schedules, workflow, and job sequencing
  • Oversee quality control inspections (substrate, slope, pre-fill, final walkthrough)
  • Coordinate subcontractors when required
  • Track materials usage and support project costing
  • Provide on-site leadership, training, and problem-solving
