About The Position

JMT's Project Controls team is seeking a Construction Scheduler in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is responsible for the scheduling of various construction projects. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Requirements

Proficient with Asta Power Project and Primavera Project Management 6.0
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and Excel
Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
Knowledge of contract procedures and principles
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle Screening
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related technical field
Minimum of 2 years Construction Management experience

Nice To Haves

Professional certification in AACE, CMAA, PMI, or PSP

Responsibilities

Tracks the status of critical activities impacting the project
Monitors program milestones and interdependencies
Analyzes project planning, schedule updates and delays
Provides alerts on items impacting the project schedule
Identifies the critical path and suggests alternatives to regain slippage to the schedule
Develop strategies for negotiating claims
Provides technical support in claims litigation
Write and prepare technical reports
Attend meetings and lead discussions on project status
Perform other related duties as assigned
