The Construction Scheduler works under general supervision and as directed to organize, review, and comment on project schedules. The role develops and updates critical path schedules and estimates of contract time; maintains project information; uses scheduling tools to monitor projects against plans; conducts scheduling and delay analysis; reviews resource- and cost-loaded schedules; and prepares reports using the Critical Path Method (CPM). The position also maintains Road User Cost spreadsheets and reviews calculations, and completes other tasks as needed for the Construction Group. The role may offer remote work within Arizona, depending on department business needs and continued performance. Remote work is a management option, not an entitlement, and agreements may be ended at the agency’s discretion. The position requires Arizona PE licensure, with a six-month period after employment begins for an employee holding an active out-of-state PE to attain Arizona licensure. Driving or using a vehicle is an essential function of the job, subject to applicable license, training, and driving-record requirements.
