About The Position

AECOM Hunt, an ENR Top Contractor specializing in large-scale infrastructure, sports stadiums, and mega construction projects, is looking to add a seasoned Construction Safety professional to our team in Cleveland, OH. Requirements

BS/BA Occupational Safety or relevant curriculum and 4 years of construction safety experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
OSHA 30-Hour Certification required
Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in safety management software and reporting tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
4+ years of construction safety management, with a preference for experience in large-scale projects or sports stadiums.
CSP, CHST, or similar certifications preferred.
Experience with OCIP and CCIP.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety programs and policies.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters on-site.
