About The Position
Linde Corporation is seeking a Construction Safety Observer to join their team. This role involves conducting daily site safety walks, evaluating contractor hazard assessments, preparing site-specific safety plans, and supporting client initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Requirements
- Strong construction background
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Completion of OSHA 30-hour Safety Certification
- Strong communications skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety walks on individual construction sites.
- Evaluate the completeness and effectiveness of the contractor's hazard assessments (JHA's, Good Catch, etc).
- When compliance and/or non-conformance is observed, immediately bring the issue to the attention of those individuals and key stakeholders as appropriate.
- Prepare Site Specific Safety Plans to conformance to Project Manual requirements.
- Support client initiatives as requested.
