About The Position
The Construction Safety Manager will oversee safety for electrical safety on a commercial construction project. This is a 1099 contractor role with a duration of 4+ months, starting on May 4th. The role involves ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
Requirements
- OSHA 30
- 5+ years of field construction safety experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- In-depth understanding of EHS principles and construction safety regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate and enforce safety standards and best practices
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with mechanical construction safety, particularly underground piping operations
Responsibilities
- Oversee safety for electrical safety on a commercial construction project.
- Conduct routine safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments across multiple project sites.
- Lead incident investigations, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver safety orientations and ongoing training for employees, subcontractors, and new hires.
- Partner with project management and field teams to identify and mitigate safety risks proactively.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspections, and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture across all levels of the project team.
