About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to oversee safety during material handling equipment installation, mechanical assembly, elevated work, equipment setting, and contractor operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction safety professional who enjoys working alongside installation crews while helping ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • OSHA 500 Certification and 6+ years of construction safety experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety (or related field) and 3+ years of construction safety experience
  • CSP, CHST, or STSC Certification and 5+ years of construction safety experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
  • Working knowledge of Conveyor Installation Safety
  • Working knowledge of Material Handling Equipment Installation
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical Construction Safety
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Construction Operations
  • Working knowledge of Fall Protection & Elevated Work Activities
  • Working knowledge of Aerial Lifts & MEWPs
  • Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Working knowledge of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development
  • Working knowledge of Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis
  • Working knowledge of Contractor Safety Management
  • Working knowledge of Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse & Distribution Facility Construction

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily safety activities for conveyor installation operations
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
  • Support installation activities involving conveyor systems and material handling equipment
  • Monitor elevated work, equipment installation, and mechanical assembly operations
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Deliver safety orientations and field safety coaching
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
  • Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
  • Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project

Benefits

  • Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week)
  • Completion Bonus: $150/month
