About The Position
Environmental and Safety Solutions Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Associate for a large construction company in New Albany, OH. This role requires a strong field presence, with approximately 90% of the time spent on job sites monitoring safety conditions and behaviors. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements, identifying and mitigating hazards, and fostering a proactive safety culture through collaboration and training.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of construction safety management experience.
- Ability to start this project as soon as possible.
- Must have excellent writing and computer skills.
- Great communication - written & verbal.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 510 Preferred
- Local to the project preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong field presence (90%+ of time) to monitor job site safety conditions and behaviors.
- Conduct daily site walkthroughs, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions in real time.
- Partner with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Lead and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and pre-task planning sessions.
