Fluor is seeking candidates for opportunities within its Program Delivery Support (PDS) team, working alongside the California High-Speed Rail Authority. This role provides program delivery and program management services for one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S. The system will connect a 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region and the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley. Under the direction of the Deputy Program Safety and Security Director, the Construction Safety and Security Manager (CSSM) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the safety and security performance across all construction activity in the Central Valley for the California High Speed Rail Authority. The CSSM is responsible for implementing the policies and procedures found in the CHSRA’s Safety and Security Management Plan (SSMP). The CSSM will support the Chief of Safety and Security and is responsible for monitoring construction safety and security and oversight activities related to the program. The CSSM has the responsibility and accountability to develop, make recommendations, and implement continuous improvement for construction safety and security activities related to the program. Additionally, this position coordinates with the HSR Contracts Office to review required safety deliverables involved in construction contractor activities.
