Requirements

5+ years of experience in municipal construction inspection, engineering, or related field
Knowledge of construction methods, municipal specifications, and industry best practices
Proven ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency with field reporting technology and digital documentation
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

Oversee and inspect construction progress ensuring compliance with engineering standards
Validate materials, grade, and workmanship through precise field checks
Maintain accurate reports, drawings, and project documentation
Communicate professionally with contractors, engineers, and municipal representatives
Identify and resolve construction challenges proactively
Lead on-site coordination and safety efforts to ensure project efficiency
Mentor junior technical staff and support their professional growth
Provide constructability insight and feedback to design teams
