•$97,600 - $206,400

About The Position

Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is responsible for delivering and operating Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure and services worldwide. The Construction Quality Manager governs the quality management system for data center construction, audits contractor quality performance, manages non-conformance reports and quality metrics, and identifies risks before they affect commissioning or operations. The role ensures data centers are delivered ready to perform, not merely ready to complete. The manager drives construction quality from the start of projects, promotes a “Right First Time” culture, and verifies that facilities meet design requirements, specifications, and Microsoft quality standards. The position provides oversight and assurance while contractors remain responsible for workmanship and their own QA/QC responsibilities. The role also owns project quality plans, Inspection & Test Plan governance, quality tracking systems, field inspections, readiness and turnover support, and continuous improvement. It partners with project leadership, Commissioning Managers, and Operations to improve quality performance and startup outcomes. Applicants must meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
