About The Position

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking experienced Construction Quality Control Managers (CQCM) to join their Field Operations team. This role is specifically for the Kings Bay Naval Base in Georgia. The CQCM will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and implementing a project-specific quality control plan that adheres to all contractual requirements. This includes ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining thorough and timely documentation, and building strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction. The position is fully on-site, and while local candidates may be preferred, relocation or travel is expected. All duties are performed in line with RQ's core mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• A BA/BS degree in Industrial/Construction/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and training.
• A combined total of 10+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry in roles such as Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer.
• At least 2 years of direct experience working as a Quality Control Manager.
• Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email platforms, and general internet use.
• Must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check for access to job site at military base.

Nice To Haves

• Preference may be given to candidates local to the project area.
• RMS/QCS system knowledge.
• Additional specialty inspection certifications or licenses.
• LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate credentials.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS.
