About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Project Scheduler to support their Spent Fuel Handling Project, located at the Naval Reactors Facility on the Idaho National Lab property. This role is crucial to the construction management team, assisting the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager in developing project plans. The scheduler will be responsible for reviewing the accuracy and validation of subcontract vendor schedules, including baseline, monthly, and three-week look-ahead schedules, and managing progress and schedule logic. This position will also involve forecasting, diagnosing schedule issues, and assisting with schedule forecast analysis.

Requirements

5 or more years of work experience
3+ years of experience on large scale heavy industrial projects
Experience with Primavera P6
5 or more years of experience (demonstrating of proficiency) in administering project schedules
Experience with the MS Office Suite - specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to plan, organize, document, perform, review, and present multiple subprojects with minimum supervision
Communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of the project team
Documentation and the ability to clearly articulate to others
Proof of US Citizenship (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)

Nice To Haves

Experience with ARES PRISM is a plus
Experience with project accounting and cost estimating is a plus
Experience with Deltek Acumen software
Financial analysis experience
Scheduling and Modeling software experience a plus

Responsibilities

Review and maintain subcontractor schedules in P6
Assist in the integration of subcontractor schedules into a master Integrated Construction Schedule
Reporting and monitoring progress on major construction project milestones
Supporting the Project Controls Manager in review of multiple subcontractor schedules in tracking the status of work on a weekly basis
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other ad hoc reporting as requested by the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager
Supports the Project Controls Manager with day-to-day administration of the project, including the financial control, reporting, and monitoring
Provides the earned value progress and performance reporting for the project
Provide variance analysis of schedule slip
Frequent contact with project management, project team members, field craft, and finance stakeholders
