About The Position

Dade Electric Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects throughout South Florida. The Project Manager will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Requirements

  • 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and blueprints
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software
  • Experience with Bluebeam or similar construction document management software
  • Experience working on municipal infrastructure or a wastewater treatment plant projects
  • Experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial electrical construction
  • Knowledge of medium-voltage systems and low-voltage systems

Nice To Haves

  • An electrical license or a construction management certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate with engineers, general contractors, architects, and inspectors
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
  • Manage subcontractors, field supervisors, and installation crews
  • Monitor project costs, change orders, and job profitability
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable codes
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Conduct project meetings and provide updates to company leadership
  • Ensure jobsite safety standards and company safety policies are followed
