KONE is seeking a Construction Project Manager for KONE Americas in San Francisco, CA. This role involves managing projects, including subcontracts and vendor management, and maintaining communication with stakeholders during the process. The ideal candidate will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders surrounding assigned projects, thrive in areas where priorities change, be skillful with technological tools such as Microsoft Office, demonstrate a passion for quality and results, and be committed to promoting a safety culture in their team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant construction project management expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Well Organized
  • Customer service mindset
  • Skillful with technological tools such as Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrate a passion for quality and results
  • Committed to promoting a safety culture in your team

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining/updating the agreed upon schedule
  • Maintaining/updating the status of project resources (including material, labor, etc.)
  • Procurement related responsibilities (such as subcontracts and vendors)
  • Ensuring quality is addressed throughout the project life cycle through metrics and acting on punch-list items
  • Ensuring safety on your worksites and auditing compliance
  • Utilizing a variety of tools to ensure that the scope of the project is meeting timelines, such as Microsoft Project or SAP
  • Picking up risks/opportunities through outlets such as contracts, on sites, etc.
  • Managing cash flow of budget and forecasting
