Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus 2-5 years of experience in field.
  • OR 5-7 years of experience in project management or related field such as construction, manufacturing, DoD contracting, or EMP protection.
  • Comprehensive expertise in industry's best practices for project management.
  • Advanced understanding of DoD contracting mechanisms (instruments, scope, schedule, funding/budget).
  • Proficiency in MS Project, NetSuite or other ERP systems, and Bluebeam.
  • Skill in maintaining excellent professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possesses a strong and proven ability to manage and resolve conflicts constructively and efficiently.
  • Ability to effectively oversee risk assessment processes and the creation of mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and smooth execution.
  • Strong leadership qualities to support the ongoing growth of the company.
  • Ability to develop complete technical and cost related documents.
  • Management of multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement of project management processes.
  • Ability to strategically collaborate across organizational layers, ensuring alignment and contribution to corporate goals.
  • Ability to provide support for execution teams.
  • Willingness to be coached and learn new skills in growing industry.
  • Orchestration of the purchasing and logistics for project execution.
  • Strong proficiency in the effective management of personnel and resource schedules to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.
  • Strong ability to effectively lead, manage, and mentor project management teams.
  • Experience coordinating project teams and schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and improve processes.
  • Strong and effective communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with both clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements are met while supporting overall business objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using MS Project, coordinating personnel, resources, and project activities to ensure successful execution.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and stakeholders, providing clear communication, guidance, mentorship, and support to drive project success and team development.
  • Oversee project risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, issue resolution, and continuous monitoring to maintain project continuity.
  • Coordinate project purchasing, logistics, and documentation, including the development of technical, contractual, and cost-related project deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, while identifying opportunities to improve project management processes and operational efficiency.
