About The Position

Marsh Risk is seeking a talented individual to join their Construction team. This role will be based in either their Chicago, IL or Denver, CO office and is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office. The Program Manager will provide specific advice, service, and solution delivery to clients and prospects regarding their program management, manage an account load, and act as a trusted business advisor. This role serves as a liaison between Service Offices, Client Executives, Risk Practices, and clients with domestic engagements, aligning clients with appropriate Marsh resources and partnering with Risk Practices on business placement. The role also involves interacting with insurers to ensure proper documentation and aiding in account retention and business growth through cross-selling.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Preferred minimum 5+ years working in insurance (wrap/construction insurance and OCIP/CCIP experience needed).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
P&C license required or ability to obtain

Nice To Haves

Technical product line experience preferred.
Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks based on urge

Responsibilities

Be a member of the project risk advisory team, assisting owners, developers and contractors with wrap-up program design and project administration for large local and national construction projects.
Execution of Marsh project specific casualty solutions, which can include multi-site and rolling wrap-up programs.
Act as an advocate and advisor for clients leveraging the full breadth of Marsh’s expertise in construction with a particular focus on the Western Region.
Engage contractors and subcontractors directly to facilitate participation in clients' wrap up programs.
Work closely with Project Administrators in smooth execution of wrap up program.
Facilitate carrier audits and program close-outs.
Collaborate with other advisory and placement colleagues as needed.
Manage an account load.
Align clients with the appropriate Marsh resources by identifying local and international experts as needed.
Partner with the Risk Practices on the placement of business.
Interact with insurers to ensure proper documentation is produced.
Aid in account retention and growing the business via cross selling.
