About The Position

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee project management services in the Construction area. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Construction) with at least five (5) years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital projects and facility construction, ownership of $100M+ scopes, cleanroom and GMP facility experience, and expertise in utilities/process-utilities, management, claims, and change-order discipline. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Construction)
  • At least five (5) years of experience
  • Capital project experience and facility construction
  • Ownership of $100M+ scopes
  • Cleanroom and GMP facility experience
  • Experience with utilities/process-utilities
  • Experience in management, claims, and change-order discipline
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Own the assigned PC21 sub-package: scope baseline, budget, schedule, contracts, and risk register.
  • Lead contractor execution from mobilization through mechanical completion and turnover.
  • Partner with Construction Quality Leads to ensure GMP-grade execution and zero rework on critical systems.
  • Drive HSE excellence aligned with Lilly Beyond Zero and the project's LIFE program.
  • Coordinate design-driven changes, RFIs, and field engineering decisions with the Design Interface Manager.
  • Manage interfaces with sibling PC21 PMs (CSA / MEP / Utilities) and with Equipment Managers (ASRS, SDD, OSD, Ancillary).
  • Lead change control, contractor performance reviews, claims defense, and monthly cost/schedule reporting.
  • Plan and execute system-by-system turnover to C&Q in partnership with the System Turnover Lead.
  • Focus on Civil, Structural, and Architectural scope including building shell, slab, cleanroom architectural systems.
  • Focus on mechanical, electrical, plumbing fit-out within the PC21 building envelope; close coordination with HVAC, electrical, piping, and plumbing Discipline Leads.
  • Focus on process and clean utilities (WFI, PW, clean steam, process gases, HVAC for classified spaces), and tie-ins to existing site utility distribution.
