About The Position

AECOM Hunt has an exciting high-rise hospitality project in Northern California! Core and shell experience and hotel/hospitality experience a plus!! This position assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks. The role executes construction assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training, and the employee handles situations independently. The role works with the BIM team and use modelling software, and collaborates with Superintendents to address project questions/issues. Responsibilities include assisting with and monitoring change orders, and assisting with construction compliance, site safety and financial reporting. The role also involves working with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate, and attending meetings to report on project tasks as needed.

Requirements

BA/BS Engineering/Construction Project Management or related curriculum and 2 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Strong experience in core and shell construction.
Experience in high rise construction and structural construction.
Experience in ground up commercial construction.
Proficiency with construction documentation such as RFI, RFP, proposals, change order management, etc.
Proficiency in construction software such as CMiC, Procore, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
Experience working on construction projects in excess of 300MM.
Hospitality, casino, hotel, high rise construction experience strongly preferred.
