About The Position

A long-standing commercial GC in Reston, VA is hiring a hands-on Project Manager to own restaurant projects across Northern Virginia and DC, from kickoff through closeout. The role involves managing multiple restaurant projects, including ground-up builds and renovations for repeat customers, with a focus on budget, schedule, and client satisfaction. This is a local role with no overnight travel required.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a commercial construction PM
• Ground-up restaurant experience
• True project ownership, not just PM support
• Northern Virginia / DC market experience
• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Own budget, cost tracking and financial performance
• Handle subcontractor buyout and contracts
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and long-lead procurement
• Drive the schedule with your Superintendent
• Lead OAC meetings and work directly with owners, architects and engineers
• Support an APM and keep repeat clients happy
• Run closeout, punch lists and turnover
