About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final closeout. This role is responsible for managing projects involving commercial drywall, acoustical ceilings, and commercial flooring, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has a proven background in commercial interiors, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and clients while successfully managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or related interior construction.
  • Commercial interior construction experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and flooring projects from preconstruction through project completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure complete scope understanding.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field teams.
  • Monitor project costs, labor productivity, material procurement, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify safety, quality, production, and schedule compliance.
  • Identify project risks early and implement solutions to minimize delays, cost overruns, and field issues.
  • Lead project meetings and provide consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, warranties, and turnover packages.
