About The Position

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their PMCM Team in Albany, NY. This role involves supporting the successful delivery of capital and construction projects by coordinating with clients, technical teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. The position will support projects throughout the Capital District and northern New York State, with travel anticipated, including a focus area approximately an hour north of Glens Falls, NY.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Science, Planning, Engineering Management or related field required; or equivalent combination of experience and licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years of construction management experience required, including at least 2 years of project management experience
  • Working knowledge of project engineering and/or construction principles, construction schedules, and project delivery practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software (ProCore)
  • Ability to manage scope, budget, schedule, technical tasks, project documentation, and competing priorities with confidence and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across clients, project teams, technical staff, and various stakeholder groups
  • A motivated, organized, and adaptable approach with the ability to work independently, solve problems, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of multi-prime contracts

Nice To Haves

  • knowledge of Deltek Vision and/or VantagePoint preferred
  • OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support private and public capital projects by coordinating scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and project documentation from start to finish
  • Partner with clients, technical teams, market staff, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to address needs, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare proposals, project plans, schedules, budgets, progress updates, and Quality Management Plans in collaboration with CHA teams
  • Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, subcontractor documents, daily correspondence, invoices, critical communications, and other project files
  • Support project controls, document submittals, approvals, QA/QC requirements, project reviews, and closeout documentation
  • Conduct regular project progress meetings and provide timely updates to clients, management, and project teams
  • Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, subcontractor billings/payments, and overall project performance
  • Help support project-specific health and safety planning while promoting compliance with established project requirements
