A role in Construction means leading the execution of the new store, remodel, supply chain and merchant innovation projects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, and large-format ground-up construction, you’ll help manage the scope, schedule and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timeline, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process and turnover. You’ll keep all the players and partners aligned with effective communication between vendors, general contractors, field leadership and project teams. As a Construction Project Manager, you will manage cross-functional teams as you refine scopes and develop budgets and schedules and oversee the construction and fixture installation process for assigned projects to meet the established goals and objectives. By reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, you will make recommendations and approve subcontractor bids, conduct contract negotiations, review and approve changes to the contract and applications for payments, and close out all necessary contracts. You’ll conduct periodic meetings to monitor the activities and budgets of other departments that affect the projects. You will be responsible for project completion within approved budget, which includes obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining the budget input from other documents. In this role, ensuring Target quality control standards are being achieved on each project is key. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs
