About The Position

REDCOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to coordinate all necessary components of ground-up construction projects. REDCOM is a design and construction firm delivering commercial and industrial projects throughout New Jersey. Established in 1982, it is a second-generation general contractor with in-house engineers, architects, designers, and project managers. The role coordinates clients, owners, architects, engineers, construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project goals, manage schedules and budgets, and deliver quality projects on time and on budget.

Requirements

At least 5 years of project management experience.
A successful track record of completed projects valued at $2 million to $20 million.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Knowledge of building components, systems, and cost estimating.
Excellent internal and external communication skills.
Strong customer-service focus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality products on time and on budget.
Ability to cultivate strong team relationships.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Procore.

Responsibilities

Set and manage client expectations through ongoing communication and regularly scheduled virtual and on-site meetings.
Coordinate architects, engineers, construction teams, and owners to meet project goals and resolve problems.
Create and maintain project schedules using MS Project.
Develop scopes of work from preliminary design/build conceptual drawings.
Make decisions on subcontractor and vendor buyouts.
Manage project budgets and forecast job costs and cash flows to meet financial objectives.
Establish and communicate project systems and controls.
Mentor Assistant Project Managers as needed.
