About The Position

MCFA Global has been engaged by one of our clients to identify a high-performing Construction Project Manager to support their growing field operations and project delivery. This is an external role with our partner firm and mcfa is leading the search to find the best candidate for this opportunity. In this role, you’ll lead construction project delivery from pre-construction through closeout, overseeing field operations, schedules, budgets, and client relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and at or above profitability targets.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in commercial construction or carpentry
  • Strong leader who can motivate teams and drive performance in the field
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Financially savvy, with experience managing budgets and tracking project profitability
  • Proactive problem-solver who can resolve challenges and maintain strong client relationships
  • Effective communicator across field teams, subcontractors, and leadership
  • Comfortable working with construction software and Microsoft Office tools

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • Hands-on field experience in commercial carpentry
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, QuickBid, or similar tools
  • Prior military service

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of project management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution
  • Review bids, perform re-bids, and identify cost-saving or value engineering opportunities
  • Develop and manage project budgets, cost codes, and financial forecasts
  • Plan construction operations and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment
  • Manage subcontractor bidding, selection, contracts, and performance
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and billing
  • Conduct regular job site visits to monitor safety, progress, quality, and schedule adherence
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and proactively resolve issues
  • Track project profitability and forecast gross margin performance
  • Lead project kickoff, mobilization, and closeout activities
  • Participate in project debriefs and continuous improvement efforts
