About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and manage all aspects of industrial construction projects, specifically focusing on water treatment plants. This role involves comprehensive project planning, resource management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction project management, technical knowledge of water treatment processes, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

• BA in Construction Management or BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 5-7 years of past experience as a Project Manager for commercial construction projects
• Technical knowledge of water treatment processes
• Leadership skills, positive attitude and ability to motivate others
• Proficiency in project management software (i.e. Procore, BlueBeam, Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Office)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of water treatment plant construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee procurement activities, including obtaining bids, negotiating contracts, and selecting vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work quality, safety practices, and adherence to project specifications.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and budgetary performance.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to project team members.
• Continuously evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
