Construction Project Management Specialist (supporting NASA, U.S. Navy)
About The Position
ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Construction Project Management Specialist to support Associate Project/Program Management Specialist for Task Orders at facilities like those at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility. This is an onsite position at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island VA. The role involves managing and supporting all task order projects, facilitating task orders issued by the Government, coordinating contractors and on-site tradesmen, and ensuring compliance with GSFC mandates and specifications for NASA WFF and Wallops Island SCSC US Navy. The specialist will communicate with system owners, building managers, and occupants to request system outages, maintain control of task orders, subcontracts, and budgets, and oversee project expenditures. Responsibilities also include leading pre-bid job walks with potential bidders, working with procurement on subcontract scope of work, and participating in weekly performance meetings with upper management. Experience in electrical and mechanical systems, installation, and code, as well as knowledge of outage & LOTO processes and electrical coordination with other trades, is required. The role also involves reviewing and modifying drawings.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibilities
- Manage/support all task order projects
- Facilitate task orders issued by the Government

- Assure all badging, documentation and work procedures comply with GSFC mandates and specifications
- Communicate with system owners, building managers, occupants and request system outages
