About The Position

Full Service Chimney™ is offering the nation's first Registered Apprenticeship for Fireplace and Chimney Repair Technicians, providing a pathway to Journeyman-level leadership. This role is for individuals interested in leading people and taking responsibility, with a career where effort leads to trust and trust leads to leadership. The company is focused on long-term growth and stability, seeking committed team members for a tight-knit group. This position starts with hands-on repair work in the field, with opportunities to grow into leading crews, organizing work, maintaining quality, mentoring, and improving field systems. As a Construction Project Leader Apprentice, you will begin as a Field Technician Assistant, learning from industry experts. The Registered Apprenticeship Program is designed for mechanically inclined individuals, offering paid, hands-on training to build skills and confidence.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Undergo a background check and drug screening
Pass fitness and aptitude assessments
Able to lift up to 60-80 lbs confidently
Able to climb ladders and build scaffolding at heights for lengthy periods, regardless of weather conditions
Reliable daily commute to Spring Hill, KS, or willing to relocate
Strong math skills and the ability to read a tape measure

Nice To Haves

Construction or labor experience is a plus, but not required
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
ROTC or military experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with inspections, repairs, and installations
Safely work at heights (ladders, scaffolding, rooftops) year-round
Operate tools and handle physical tasks such as lifting and material handling
Help repair and reline fireplaces, chimneys, and venting systems
Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment
