About The Position

Lee Company provides core construction services of HVAC, plumbing and electrical for large and small commercial projects throughout Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. The Construction Electrical Apprentice (Helper) assists the Electrical staff with planning, diagramming, and implementing electrical systems. This role involves performing tasks that require physical labor at construction sites.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • 0-1 years experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
  • Should have a working knowledge of an electrical system in a new construction setting
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move moderately heavy objects
  • Ability to ascend/ descend ladders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electrical work a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Electrical staff with planning, diagramming and implementing electrical systems
  • Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types
  • Clean and prepare sites
  • Dig trenches with shovel
  • Set braces to support the sides of excavations
  • Climbing and working on a ladder
  • Clean up debris and other waste materials
