About The Position
The Construction Project Inspector works on-site daily inspecting and monitoring lead pipe replacement in residential properties and overseeing pavement restoration. The inspector ensures work complies with plans, specifications, and safety standards; verifies restoration materials, compaction, and finish quality; documents contractor progress; prepares inspection reports; and communicates findings to the supervisor.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Assistant Superintendent, and/or Project Inspector.
- Must be available to work on-site daily.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor lead pipe replacement in residential properties.
- Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Oversee pavement restoration activities and ensure proper materials, compaction, and finish quality.
- Document contractors’ daily progress and prepare inspection reports.
- Communicate inspection findings to the supervisor.
