About The Position

We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX. Your role involves analyzing client needs and assisting contractors in the interpretation of plans and specifications. You will prepare change orders and/or supplemental agreements, update project plans, monitor construction progress, and maintain daily records. Additionally, you will monitor and record material quantities and construction results, review shop drawings, schedules, permits, and progress charts. The role also includes preparing the final estimate package, which comprises final plans, construction documents, and detailed calculations of costs and pay items. The Construction Project Engineer will also perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent, plus seven years’ experience
With Associated degree, fifteen years of related experience.
Experience in CPM scheduling techniques.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with TXDOT is preferred.
TXDOT experience preferred.
PE Required
