About The Position

Estes Construction is seeking driven college students for a Construction Project Engineer Intern position for Summer 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience in the Project Engineer Training Program within a people-focused culture that emphasizes growth, development, collaboration, safety, and quality. Interns will gain exposure to various roles within the company and learn how real-world decisions impact project outcomes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to learn, ask questions, and contribute meaningfully.
• Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on-site.
• Valid Driver’s License and Satisfactory Driving Record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Commitment from May – August (Summer 2027).

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers, pre-construction managers, superintendents, project coordinators, and warehouse managers while learning how real-world decisions share the outcomes.
• Participate in site visits and safety checks under supervision.
• Assist with documentation tracking and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments.
• Participate in company initiatives, committees, and continuing education.
