About The Position

City Construction is looking for a Construction Project Engineer Intern to join their team for the Summer of 2027. This internship is designed for driven college students to gain hands-on experience in the Project Engineer Internship Program within commercial construction. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to building the community.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related program
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willing to learn, ask questions, and contribute meaningfully
• Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on-site
• Valid Driver’s License and Satisfactory Driving Record
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Commitment from May – August (Summer 2027)

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers, pre-construction managers, superintendents, project coordinators, and warehouse managers while learning how real-world decisions shape outcomes.
• Participate in site visits and safety checks under supervision.
• Assist with documentation tracking and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments.
• Participate in company initiatives, committees, and continuing education.
