About The Position

City Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to support their projects. This role involves taking ownership of project support, anticipating team needs, and driving projects from startup through closeout. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for keeping projects organized, on track, and moving forward by partnering closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents. Key duties include managing documentation, coordinating meetings and schedules, tracking submittments and changes, and ensuring clear communication across teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination or construction support, possess strong organization, communication, and time management skills, and be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual takes ownership of their work, builds strong relationships, and is comfortable using technology and project systems to support successful project delivery. This role involves working independently on a day-to-day basis while maintaining regular communication and collaboration with a manager and team located in a separate office.

Requirements

  • An Associates degree (A.A) and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, trade partners, owners, architects, and clients
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new project management systems and tools
  • Detail-oriented and a strong sense of ownership
